Great opportunity for anyone starting to paddle whitewater canoe or kayak. The clinic will be held on the Big South Fork.

Our beginner students will paddle Bear Creek to the Blue Heron Mining Community, Saturday. There should be a couple class II rapids, and the trip ends with Devils Jump. A nice class III into a pool. There is a trail on river left so this rapid can easily be run multiple times. Sunday the plan will be to paddle selected rapids on the BSF Canyon. The more advanced groups will paddle the canyon on Saturday, and probably Sunday. If the sky happens to drop some water on the area, there will be other options for both levels of paddlers. We can get them on bigger water on later trips this summer.

Camping is at Blue Heron Campground. This should make the drive time from Louisville to the Clinic at 3 hours 15 minutes.
